During this pandemic we would like to assure you we are following government and Chartered Society of Physiotherapists guidelines so that Vfit physio can continue to offer its services in a COVID secure environment. These would be to clients that are not part of the vulnerable group, have not displayed symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days and have not been in contact with anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
The changes made on re-opening remain in place to ensure your safety, the safety of our staff and that of the wider community.
The following procedures will continue to be implemented throughout this period:
Prior to attending a face to face appointment you must have completed a COVID 19 screening form and a registration form. The screening form is to ensure you do not attend with symptoms and are not living with someone with symptoms. The registration form asks for details about your injury ahead of time so that your time in the clinic is kept to a minimum. The link to these forms will be sent in your confirmation email. You will also receive an email detailing all the measures we are taking.
You also have the option of being managed remotely, if you prefer to be, with an online virtual appointment. This is a video call you can receive from the comfort and safety of your own hoe. We can still assess, diagnose and advise on these sessions.
Patients or staff will not be allowed to attend if:
- They have a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19
- They have experienced COVID-19 symptoms in the last 7 days.
- They live with or in the last 14 days they have been in contact with a person who has been confirmed or suspected to have COVID-19.
- They are in the vulnerable category.
- Have travelled outside of the UK in the last 2 weeks.
On arrival you are requested to remain in your car until called in either by phone or physically retrieved by the attending therapist to maximise social distancing rules. We will insist you are unaccompanied unless you are a minor or require assistance.
Hand sanitiser will be available to you to use on arrival and exit.

After your session your diagnosis, advice and exercise programme will be emailed to you rather than printed in the clinic.
All payments are to be either taken at the time of booking, contactless, Apple Pay or online transfer.
All appointments will be spaced by 15 minutes to allow for 1 patient to leave before the next one arrives and for thorough cleaning of the surfaces, door handles and equipment used in the clinic room.
